The Glenorchy Airstrip Reserve (The Reserve) is situated just south of the township of Glenorchy, on the banks of Lake Wakatipu. It houses an airstrip utilised by small private fixed wing aircraft, helicopter operations and is also a base for skydive and other recreational aeronautical activities.

A newly formed vehicular access road from the Queenstown-Glenorchy road was opened in 2019 to provide a safe access route.
