Motorists using the Skippers Road will face short delays next week while routine maintenance is carried out.

Downer, QLDC’s roading contractor, will begin spot metalling the road on Tuesday 24 March. The work will continue from 7am until 7pm each day until Friday, weather permitting.

Spot metalling involves laying gravel over exposed rock to create a smooth surface for vehicles to drive on. There will be a grader, water cart, roller and two gravel trucks on site. Downers asks all drivers to take extreme care on the Skippers Road next week.
