Extended Library Opening Hours

The Queenstown and Wanaka libraries will be extending their opening hours from Monday 2 March. 

The new hours are:

  • Monday – Wednesday: 9am – 5:30pm
  • Thursday:  9am – 7 pm
  • Friday:  9am – 5:30pm
  • Saturday: 10am - 5pm

The Council will also shortly begin consulting residents in other communities about whether their libraries should also open for longer, or on different days.
