Pre-Election Report - Media Advisory Friday 2 August 2013

 The Queenstown Lakes District Council Pre-Election Report is now available.

 The document is a new requirement of the Local Government Act and requires the Chief Executive to prepare a Pre-Election Report to provide information for the community and prospective election candidates and to enable a better informed election debate.

 The report is now available online with hard copies at Council offices or libraries.

“The report is effectively a summary of Council’s financial performance; financial projections for the next three years; and a summary of major projects completed or underway. It is designed to inform discussion around the election,” QLDC Chief Executive Adam Feeley said.
