First Funding Round Announced - Media Advisory 14 August 2013

 

The first Queenstown Lakes District Council event funding round (catering to winter and spring events) has now been completed with Events Panel Chairwoman and QLDC Mayor Vanessa van Uden today confirming the first round of QLDC funding.

 

The Events Panel approved the following funding (under $30,000) :

• NZSki Parklife Invitational ($7790)
• WanakaFest ($13,223)

 

The Council approved the following funding (over $30,000):

• Winter Games ($50,000)

 

The second round of applications to fund summer events closes on 31 August 2013.
