Proposed extension of Lake Wanaka swimming area – Board seeks feedback

Feedback on a proposal to extend the public swimming area through the removal of a water-ski access lane in Roys Bay, (adjacent to Edgewater) is being sought by the Wanaka Community Board .  This water-ski lane is approximately 100m long and extends from Edgewater to Morrows Mead. The proposal reflects a potential conflict and safety issues with the popular swimming area.
